Before you spend money on a charger you don’t need after your trip, ask the hotel if they have extras. Most hotels have drawer full of chargers that we’ve all left behind and others can use. Who knows, if you go to a hotel often enough, you may even re-use a charger you previously left behind.
Utilizing your cell phone for calls, texts or data while in another country can be expensive without an international plan set up in advance. To avoid unintended and costly charges, plan in advance for an international package or turn your phone completely off or in airplane mode while traveling internationally.
